Kay M. King, age 75, of Sidney, passed away at her home on Wednesday, March 10, 2021.

Kay loved animals, especially her horses, chickens, pigeons. She enjoyed going for boat rides and cruises with her husband, Bud, and also liked camping. Kay was a member of the Faith Lutheran church in Sidney. Most of all, Kay loved her family and spending time with them.

Surviving Kay is her husband, Bud; daughters, Penny Bajema of North Dorr; Patricia (Marv) Wittengen of Hudsonville; sons, Lester III (Carol) King of Hopkins; David King of Sidney; Bruce (Laura) King of Sidney; Andrew (Molly) King of Jamestown; grandchildren, Julie; Jeffrey; Ashley; Diana; Vicki; Tim; ; Stacey; Tara; Bud; Nichole; Jennifer; Bruce Jr.; Keith; Alex; Kyle; Alison; many great grandchildren; sister, Julie (Erv) Hopkins of Stanton; niece, Heather (Don) Guelzo of Sidney; nephew, Chad (Stacey) Hopkins of Sanford; and four great grandnieces, Kiley; Courtney; Riley; Reese.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Donald & Emily (Conklin) Petersen; son-in-law, Craig Bajema; grandson Trevor Sniezek.

Visitation for Kay will be on Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 1 – 4 PM at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan (246 S. Main St.).

A private family memorial service will be held later.

For those wanting to make a memorial donation in Kay’s memory the family suggests you direct them to New Beginnings in Sheridan. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
