Kathy Fisher

Kathy Ann Fisher, age 55, of Fenwick, passed away on Friday, December 7, 2012 at Butterworth Hospital, Grand Rapids. She was born on June 8, 1957 in Ionia, Michigan, the daughter of William & Estella (Roberts) Jeffers.
On April 9, 1977, Kathy was married to Randy Fisher and he survives in addition to their children, Christopher & Kristin Fisher of Orleans and Travis Fisher of Fenwick, a grandson, Brayden Fisher, one sister, Bonnie & Shannon Palethorpe of Butternut, two brothers, Ronald and William Jeffers, both of Sheridan and several nieces and nephews.
Kathy was preceded in death by both of her parents, a brother, Robert Jeffers and a son, Randy Michael.
Kathy has been a lifelong resident of the Sheridan area and for over 20 years, she worked at O’Donald’s Pharmacy and Sheridan Village Pharmacy where she enjoyed helping customers. Presently, she was employed at Countryside Pharmacy in Stanton. She attended the Central Montcalm Community Church and also volunteered at the Community Church nursery. She loved spending time with her grandson, Brayden and will be missed by her entire family.
Funeral services beginning at 11:00 AM will be held at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan on Tuesday, December 11th with Pastor Brooks Sayer officiating. Interment will be at the Sheridan Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday, December 10th from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. where friends and relatives can meet with the family.

Randy and family… I am so sorry that things at the hospital kept me from being at visitation last night. Kathy was a wonderful person and I have many memories of conversations with her. She took the recent setbacks to her health with a sense of acceptance and even humor. I can only imagine how much you will miss her. Her presence in my practice will be missed as well.
