Karen S. Light, age 62, of St. Louis, passed away at her home on Thursday, December 8, 2022, under the loving care of her family and hospice.
Karen loved to put a smile on people's faces and entertain them. She was a professional clown and also loved to sing and attend music jams. She was an avid collector of all things Mickey Mouse and also porcelain dolls. However, the thing Karen loved the most was her family, especially her grandchildren, and she will be dearly missed by everyone.
Surviving Karen is her mom, Dorothy Wiggins; husband, Kenny Light; daughters, Erin (Steve) Lippert; Amanda (Jack) Lent, Chasity Fare; grandchildren, August, Shay Shay, Audrianna, Ashlynn, Abbie, Annabelle, Aiden, and Dayton; siblings, Jan Hodge, Shirley Townsend, Lorretta (Don) Forist, Rick (Donna) Wiggins, Lonny (Robin) Wiggins, Ike (Penny) Wiggins; father-in-law, Gary Light; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Heather & Curtis Medina; and many nieces and nephews.
Karen was preceded in death by her dad, Douglas Wiggins; stepmom, Ruth Wiggins; her 1st husband, Albert Fare; stepdad, Frank Young; mother-in-law, Shirley Light; and several brothers and sisters.
A memorial service celebrating Karen's life will be held at the Sheridan VFW (209 Washington St.) on Saturday, December 10th from 1 to 3 PM with a luncheon to start, then followed by a time of sharing.
