Julie Terry

Julie A. Terry, age 51, of Sidney, went to be home with her Lord and Savior, passing away at her home on, Thursday, December 24, 2020, under the loving care of her family and Spectrum Hospice.

Having fought cancer three times and being the recipient of a lung transplant, Julie was tough and a fighter. She had an unshakable faith in Jesus and trusted in God’s plan for her, no matter what life threw at her. Julie was a member of the Stanton First Congregational Church, where she helped to teach Sunday School, lead various small groups, and served on various boards and committees. Julie was active in 4H for many years and loved all her animals, especially her dogs.

Surviving Julie are her parents, Robert & Patsy (Boomer) Barnes of Sumner; husband, Mark Terry; daughters, Heidi (Tyler) Johnson of Battle Creek; Andrea King of Vestaburg; sons, Timothy Terry of Sterling Heights; Mark Jr. (Courtney) Terry of Crystal; grandchildren, Janaya; Hunter; Remmington; Bailey and Seth; sister, Joan (Mark) Walls of Arlington, Massachusetts; brothers, Brian (Wendy) Barnes of Jackson; Bernie (Fran) Barnes of Sumner; life long friend, Sharyl Simmons of St. Johns; and her beloved dogs, Hersey; Harley; Grace; Boston; Bailey; and Faith.

Memorial donations in honor of Julie may be sent directly to her family.

In honoring Julie’s wishes no formal funeral ceremony will be held.
