Joyce E Shaffer (Beach)

Joyce E. Shaffer, age 75 of Sheridan passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2016 in Greenville.

She was born the daughter of Orlo & Sophie (Ruskowski) Beach in Vestaburg on December 11, 1940 and they have preceded her in death.

Joyce is survived by her daughters, Dawn (Shane) Francisco of White Cloud and Jodi Bunce of Greenville; grandchildren, Matthew Bunce of Greenville, Allison Bunce of Greenville; sister, Mary Jane Fisher of Mt. Pleasant and brothers, Stanley Beach of Vestaburg and Donald Beach of Vestaburg.

Joyce was an extremely hardworking single mom who worked tirelessly to take care of her daughters. To say Joyce was an avid Detroit Tigers fan, might be putting it mildly, she absolutely loved Tigers baseball. She also enjoyed her flowers, but most of all, she loved her daughters and grandchildren.

Graveside services for Joyce are being held on Monday, October 3, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the McBride Cemetery with Pastor Jamey Nichols officiating.
