Joyce K. Hopkins, age 30, of Stanton, passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2021.
Joyce was a very special person and loved everyone she met. Joyce loved to watch television, play all kinds of games and enjoyed reading books. Joyce worked at the McDonalds in Stanton and she was so proud of herself. Joyce also loved dolphins and spending time on Facebook. But what brought her the most joy in life was spending time with her family and her fiancé. The world was made a brighter place because of Joyce and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Surviving Joyce is her son, Rodney Hopkins of Stanton; her fiancé, Philip Kava Jr., of Stanton; her sisters, Sherry Hopkins of Ionia; Betty Seymour (Rick Brown) of Sheridan; Claudia (Jerry) Hopkins of Mt. Pleasant; her brother Rodney Obert of Stanton; her cousin and best friend, Melissa Barnes of Stanton; cousins, Kali, Leah, Cindy, Dougie, & Molly Barnes; special friend Shirley Williford and her dog Bear.
Joyce is preceded in death by both her parents.
A time to celebrate Joyce’s life will be held later and will be announced.
