Jon Wiser

Jonathan M. Wiser, age 43 of Stanton, passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Spectrum Health Blodgett in Grand Rapids.

Jon loved his family and friends. When his health allowed him to get out, he would spend hours driving from one friends house to another visiting them. He was a big NASCAR fan and was always cheering for Dale Earnhardt Sr. He also enjoyed watching WWE wrestling and the Food Network. He was never afraid to experiment in the kitchen as he created new dishes to eat.

Surviving Jon is his mother, Pam (Butch) Grice of Ruskin, Florida; father, Donald (Cindy) Wiser of Sheridan; brother, David (Heather) Wiser of Stanton; two grandmas, Edwina Greenway of Stanton and Sharon Moody-Bryant of Sun City Center, Florida; step-sister, Amy (Scott) Christensen of Sheridan; step-brothers, Jeff (Rachel) Grice of Greenville; Daren (Heather) Grice of Greenville; Jeremy Grice of Mecosta; aunts and uncles, Denise (Susie) & Chris Geselman of Sheridan; Michelle & Olie Johnson of Greenville; Mary & Dennis Lnenicka of Sun City Center, Florida; several nieces and nephews and his dog, Zeus.

Jon is preceded in death by his two grandpas, Roy Moody and Lloyd Wiser; grandma Velda Wiser; great grandma Jessie Blake; three uncles, Dennis Wiser; Dennis Moody and Dale Wiser and his aunt Ruth Pollock.

Jon’s family would like to invite everyone to a Celebration of Jon’s life, which is being held on Monday, October 8, 2018 at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Stanton (225 W. Cedar Street) from 4-7 PM. You are free to come and go as your schedule allows.
