Jerry L. Lumbert, age 78, of Edmore, passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at the Spectrum Health Kelsey Hospital in Lakeview.
Jerry’s passion in life was farming which is something he did his entire life. He also collected antique tractors and teapots. When he was not working, Jerry liked to go camping, take rides on his golf cart, and going fishing.
Surviving Jerry is his son, Bryan Lumbert of Edmore; daughter, Elaine (Gary) Schopa of New Hudson; grandchildren, Matthew Lumbert of Edmore; Angela Schopa (Adam) of Northville; Erin Schopa (Morgan) of Berkley; Kyle Schopa (Audrey) of New Hudson; Kevin Schopa (Audrey) of New Hudson; sister, Irene Palmer of Greenville; brother, Mike (Judy) Lumbert of Fenwick; ex-wife, Jeri Walcutt of Blanchard; and his beloved dog, Sparky.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard & Gladys (Withey) Lumbert; granddaughter, Brandi Lumbert; and his first wife, Deanna Lumbert.
In honoring Jerry’s wishes, private graveside services were held at Vinewood Cemetery in Edmore.
