Jeffery Smith

July 15, 1956 — August 17, 2019

Jeffery L. Smith, age 63 of Stanton, passed away at his home on Saturday, August 17, 2019.

Jeffrey loved going fishing and in his younger days riding his motorcycle. He worked at Electrolux in Greenville for 25+ years and at Spring Lake Farms for 10 years.

Surviving Jeffery is his mother, Grace Smith of Stanton; sisters, Judy (Michael) Hardy of Stanton; Jeri (Eddie) Witzel of Howard City; brother, Jim (Leann) Smith of Crystal and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his father, Carl Smith.

A celebration of Jeffrey’s life is being held on Wednesday, August 21, 2019, at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Stanton (225 W. Cedar Street) from 5 to 7 PM. Jeffrey will be laid to rest at Forest Hill Cemetery in Stanton.

For those wishing to make a memorial donation in Jeffery’s memory the family asks you direct them to the Humane Society of Mid-Michigan. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
