Jean Marie Sinclair, age 81 of Sheridan, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2019 at Sheridan Community Hospital.
As a teacher for 20 years at Sheridan Elementary, Jean impacted the lives of countless students. Her smile could brighten your day, and her positive attitude would encourage and inspire you. Jean loved going to Florida in the winter, something she and her husband, Clinton, did for 24 years. She enjoyed reading, canning, and she really liked her ice cream. However, above all else, Jean loved her family, especially her grandchildren and she will be missed by everyone.
Surviving Jean is her husband of 65 years, Clinton Sinclair; daughters, Marsha (Rick) Paulsen of Belding; Nancy (Bruce) Jenkins of Sheridan; Rebecca (Sally) Majoya of Vermont; Tammy (John) Vandenburg of Sheridan; grandchildren, Mackenzie; Slater; Joshua; Jonny; Jacob; Skyler; Simeon; Taryn; Kyli; Gracey; Maddi; Mykhael; Ethan; Meah; Jaden; Sareigh; Keagan; Paisley; her brother, Pete Lund of Sheridan and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Claud & Viola (Hansen) Lund and a son, Edward Clinton Sinclair.
Visitation for Jean is being held on Monday, September 23, 2019 from 4-7 PM at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan (246 S. Main Street).
Funeral services for Jean will begin at 10 AM on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan with Pastor Jim Barrett officiating. Graveside services will be held at Sheridan Cemetery.
