Janice O’Berry

Janice E. O’Berry, age 67 of Fenwick passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday, December 15, 2014. She was born on October 15, 1947, in Greenville, the daughter of Carl & Dorothy (Frisbie) Greenhoe. Both parents have preceded her in death along with a brother, a nephew, two sisters in law and three brothers in law.
On September 18, 1965, Janice was married to Merlin O’Berry and he survives in addition to their children, Shelley & Mike Wheeler of Sheridan, Angela & Scott Davis of Ionia, Marcy & Mac McDaniel of Crystal, four grandchildren, one sister, Carlene Tank of Battle Creek, two sisters in law, Eleanor Lane of Sheridan, Colleen Greenhoe of Bellevue, a brother in law, Wayne Young of Dansville, MI and several nieces & nephews.
Janice has been a lifelong resident of the Fenwick area and was a member of the Evergreen Free Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening and was an avid listener of audio books.
Funeral services beginning at 11:00 AM will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the Evergreen Free Methodist Church with Pastor Jim Vandewarker officiating. Interment will be at the Evergreen Cemetery in Sheridan.
Visitation with the family will be held on Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan where the family will meet with friends and relatives.
In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorial considerations be made to either the Mel Trotter ministries or to the Evergreen Free Methodist Church.
