Janet Pearl Seaver (Partlow)
Janet Pearl Seaver, age 71 of Stanton passed away at her home on Monday, May 16, 2016, under the loving care of her family and Spectrum Hospice.
She was born the daughter of Russell & Alvira (Hegler) Partlow in Saginaw and they along with her husband, Richard; daughter, Kelly Jean Seaver and sister, Bobbie Jean Anklam precede her in death.
A staple in the Sheridan community, Janet owned and operated “Jan’s Chat & Chew Café” in Sheridan for many years. As described by Jan, “owning the restaurant was a joy in her life, but not as big of a joy as her family and friends were.” Jan loved flowers of all variety, her Koi fish pond and being around people.
Surviving Jan are two daughters, Margie (Roger) McKeown of Stanton and Sherry (Steve) Pelmear of Lake Isabella; son, Rusty (Veronica) Seaver of Stanton; grandchildren, Amber Krauss, Misty Jewell, Andrew Gary, Morgan (Christian) Wright, Billy (Gena) McKeown, Brent (Michaela) McKeown, Kieshia (Kyle) Brown, Christopher Austin, Sosha Austin, Aaron (Beth) Seaver, Justin Seaver, Allison Monroe and Josh Monroe; nineteen great grandchildren and special friends, Loie Simpson, Vickie Woodcock, Esther Rohn and Becky Sowles.
A celebration of Janet’s life will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2016 between 5 and 8 PM at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan where her family invites you to come and enjoy some of Janet’s favorite dishes, including her famous ground Bologna sandwiches, share memories and stories of Jan and celebrate a wonderful wife, mom and grandma.
