James Joseph Ryers

James Ryers, age 54, of Stanton, passed away on Friday, December 9, 2022, at Spectrum Health Butterworth in Grand Rapids.

James loved his family and enjoyed every moment spent with them. When he wasn't with them he could be found working, which was something he took great pride in. He also loved being outdoors and riding his bicycle. He will be greatly missed by everyone.

 Surviving James is his mom, Janice Ryers; his dad, Bob Ryers; brother, Rob (Alicia) Ryers; niece, MacKenzie (Hunter) Myers; nephews, Justin Switzer, Noah Ryers, and Brandon Neve; several aunts and uncles; and many cousins.

James was preceded in death by his grandparents, Forest & Margaret Carl and Lawrance & Clara Ryers; and his aunt and uncle, Nancy & Bobby Carl.

James's life will be celebrated on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at the Seville Community Church of God (8630 Monroe Road, Elwell, MI 48832). Visitation will be from 1 to 2 PM with a memorial service starting at 2 PM.
