Howard K. Wilson, age 86, of Stanton, passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at Spectrum Health United Long Term Care in Greenville.
Howard was a very talented guy who loved to build things with his hands. He was a residential and commercial carpenter for many years and a talented woodworker. He also worked for the Montcalm County Road Commission, City of Stanton, Fisher Body, Rice Construction, and as a bus driver for Central Montcalm Public Schools for 14 years. When he wasn’t working, Howard enjoyed fishing, reading, working on jigsaw puzzles, and driving his wife’s 1938 Ford pickup truck in parades.
Surviving Howard is his wife of 59 years, Pat; daughter, Janet Wilson of Wyoming, Michigan; and nieces and nephews, Terry (Linda) Ryan, Linda (Jeff) Whitney, Don (Jill) Ryan, and Doug (MaryJane) Ryan.
Howard was preceded in death by his parents, Ken & Bea (Timmons) Wilson, and his sister, Elma Ryan.
A celebration of Howard’s life is being held on Saturday, October 29th, 2022, from 12:00 noon to 3:00 PM at 226 Center St., Sheridan MI.
Howard will be laid to rest at Forest Hill Cemetery in Stanton.
