Howard Hinkle Jr.

Howard Hinkle, Jr., age 74, of Greenville, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022, at Mercy Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Rapids.

Born in Pennsylvania, Howard was a Volunteer Firefighter for the Cheltenham Pennsylvania Fire Company #4 for 9 years. A print pressman by trade, Howard moved to Greenville in 1997 and worked for Electrolux until his retirement. Howard was an avid railfan and loved everything about trains; he was also a very big model railroader.

Surviving Howard is his wife of 51 years, Grace; daughter, Sandi (Kevin) Lynch; sons, Nathan (Rebecca) Hinkle and Jeffery (Melissa) Hinkle; son-in-law, Phillip Pratt; and his grandchildren, Cassie, Maggie, Gaby, Ian, Natalie, Olivia, Eva, and Eleanor.

Howard was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Sr. & Mildred (Rocky) Hinkle, and two daughters, Anne Marie Hinkle and Rebekah Anne Hinkle-Pratt.

A date for the celebration of Howard’s life will be announced later.
