Hobart Bud Williams, age 93, of Sheridan, passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021, at Lakeview Terrace Assisted Living in Lakeview.

Bud was born on August 9, 1927 to Iam Marion & Bessie (Wonnacott) Williams. In 1945 he married the love of his life, Louise Wiseman, and together they enjoyed 75 years of marriage.

Bud, along with his father and brother, Bob, owned and operated Williams Meat Market for many years. After the Meat Market, Bud drove truck until his retirement. He and Louise enjoyed traveling to many states visiting relatives, spent several summers in Alaska, and 18 winters in Arizona.

Bud enjoyed salmon fishing, deer hunting, and working in his garage. He loved to tinker with things and could fix or repair just about anything, he was a man of many talents. Bud also liked to share his truck driving adventures with others and always had a good story to tell.

Surviving Bud is his wife, Louise; daughters, Sharrill & Tom Jennings of North Carolina; Helen & Steve Frisbey of Sheridan; son, Daryl & Fay Williams of Stanton; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; brother-in-law, Norval Wiseman of Georgia; and many nieces and nephews.

Bud was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sons, Gary Williams and Carl Williams; 4 brothers, Ned; Dale; Bob; and Theo; and 2 sisters, Beth Holdman and Anita Williams.

In honoring Bud’s wishes, no formal funeral ceremony will be held and he will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery.
