Helen L. Greenhoe, age 76, of Casnovia, passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Spectrum Health Butterworth in Grand Rapids.
Helen loved growing and tending to her flower gardens. She enjoyed watching the birds, going camping, and being outdoors. She was very good at sewing and loved challenging herself with jigsaw puzzles, adult coloring books, and puzzle books of all kinds. Faith was also important to Helen and she loved to go to church when she could, watching on TV when she couldn’t go in person and listening to Christian music.
Surviving Helen are her daughters, Tammy (Mel) Harris of Morley; Brenda “Bea” (Wes) Lautenbach of Cedar Springs; Theresa (Dan) Veenstra of Casnovia; sons, Steve (Crystal) Stanton of Crystal; Mark (Carri) Greenhoe of Saranac; grandchildren, Chris Stanton; Beth (Jereme) Loomis; Luke Stanton; Becca Stanton; Jonna (Joe) Grostick; Jay (Jackie) Ingram; Carrmen Ingram; Joshua Ingram; Tanner Atwood; great grandchildren, Olivia; Colton; Mila; Dominic; Zafiara; Liam; Scarlett; Jamerson; Jori; Jeron; sisters, Evelyn Wilson; Margie Bogart; Edith Saxton; June (John) Leland; Rose Collins; Nila (Terry) Minier; brothers, Verl (Sally) Collins and Leonard (Marylin) Collins.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Arze & Dorothy (Goodwin) Collins; sister, Donna Ferrier; brothers, Russell Collins and Richard Collins; and her husband, Orman Greenhoe.
Helen’s life will be celebrated on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at a graveside service at Clear Lake Cemetery (1009 W. Jenks Road, Fenwick) beginning at 1 PM.
