Captain Hannah M. Jorgensen, USAF, age 30, of Tucson, Arizona, formerly of Stanton, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2022.
Hannah was an independent, tough, and a smart woman. She wasn’t afraid to tackle a challenging project and learn a new skill along the way. She and her husband, Matthew remodeled their home together. Hannah loved playing the piano, going for hikes, being outdoors, enjoying nature, and also quilting. She was also known for her love of cooking for others, and was great at it. She was an avid reader and would finish 50+ books each year. Hannah has a soft spot for animals and loved all her furry friends. However, the thing Hannah loved the most was her family and spending time with them and she will be dearly missed by everyone.
Surviving Hannah are her parents, Elverne & Michelle Jorgensen of Stanton; husband, Captain Matthew Weir; grandma, Mary Jorgensen of Stanton; sisters, Catherine (Xavier) Hernandez of Irvine, California and Rachel (Hunter) Redman of Stanton; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her beloved dogs, Geoff and Olive.
Hannah was preceded in death by her grandpa and grandma, John & Pat Frisbey; grandpa, Howard Jorgensen; and uncle, John Frisbey.
Private memorial services for Hannah were held at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Stanton.
For those wanting to make a memorial donation in Hannah’s memory, the family suggests you direct them to the Montcalm County Animal Shelter.
