Gerald Thomsen

Gerald A. Thomsen, age 71, of Crystal, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 20, 2013 in the Village of Crystal. He was born on August 31, 1941 in Sidney, the son of Alfred & Jessie (Martin) Thomsen.
On October 12, 1963, Gerald was married to the former Janice K. McCracken in Crystal and she survives in addition to a sister, Barbara Parks of Ionia.
Gerald was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Phyllis J. VanDorp.
Gerald was a longtime resident of the Carson City – Crystal area; he was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp and retired from Lobdell Manufacturing in Alma.
In keeping with Gerald’s wishes, cremation will take place and there will not be any visitation or services held.
