George Zakolski

George A. Zakolski, age 92, of rural Stanton, passed away on Monday, October 15, 2012 in Greenville. He was born in Romulus, Michigan on April 24, 1920, the son of John & Mary (Robakiewicz) Zakolski.
Surviving are his nieces and nephews, John & Sharon Crova and William & Carol Crova of Romulus, David & Judith Zakolski of Tipton, Michal & Virginia of Newport, Barbara & Donald Dysarz of Macomb Township, Kathleen & Robert Petre of Howell, Dennis & Michelle Jordan of Gainesville, Georiga and Janet White of Pensacola, Florida.
Formerly of Romulus, Mr. Zakolski has been a resident of the Sidney area since 1970. He was a retired carpenter.
Funeral services beginning at 11:00 A.M. will be held on Friday, October 19th at the Simpson Family Funeral Home, Sheridan with Deacon Darrel Kempf officiating. Interment will be at the North Sidney Cemetery.
Visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. will be at the funeral home on Friday; one hour prior to the funeral service.
