Gayla L Tow (Morris)
Gayla L. Tow, age 72, of Greenville passed away on Friday, November 27, 2015 at her home.
She was born the daughter of Claire & Marion (Peterman) Morris in Carson City on June 26, 1943 and they, along with her brother Gene Morris, have preceded her in death.
Gayla is survived by her children, Tim (Darlene) Tow of Huntsville, Alabama, Tammy (Bruce) Bigler of Stanton, Tony Tow of Wyoming; grandchildren, Whitney (Jonathan) Dettmer of Tawas, Billy (Sarah) Booth of Huntsville, Cierra (Shane) Bigler of Greenville, Logan Tow of Huntsville, Spencer (Crystal) Bigler of Grand Rapids; great grandchildren, Adalyn, Bryson, Noah and brothers, Gary (Dot) Morris of Howell, Gaylord (Marilyn) Morris of St. Louis.
An accomplished nurse, proud business owner and hard worker, Gayla was a person who enjoyed life to its fullest. No matter if it was on the dance floor, at the casino or spending time with her family, Gayla knew how to have a good time. A loving mother and grandmother, Gayla had an infectious smile, laugh and way about her, she was also the biggest fan of her son’s band “Michatucky” and will be deeply missed by her entire band family.
A celebration of Gayla’s life will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 from 6-8 PM at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan.
In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorial donations be made in Gayla’s memory to the Sheridan Hospital, and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
