Ernst Wells

Ernst E. Wells, age 54 of rural Stanton passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at United Memorial Hospital in Greenville. He was born on December 18, 1959 in Heidelburg, Germany, the son of Lewis & Annemarie (Haase) Wells.
Ernst is survived by his parents, Lewis and Annemarie, two sisters, Ute & Bill Albert of Stanton, Karen & Lanny Scoby of Middleville, one brother, Daniel Wells of Sheridan, one niece, Caissie Austin and three nephews, Chad Wells, Landon Scoby and Steven Scoby.
Ernst enjoyed arts and crafts, watching television and writing children’s stories. He also liked to go fishing, but had no patience waiting for the fish to bite.
Funeral services beginning at 1:00 PM will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan with Pastor Kenneth Harger officiating. Interment will be at the Richland Township Cemetery in Vestaburg.
Visitation with the family will also be at the funeral home on Tuesday beginning at 12:00 noon; one hour prior to the funeral service.
