Obituary for
Eloise C "Ellie" Taylor (Jensen)
Eloise “Ellie” Taylor, age 73 of Stanton passed away at her home on Tuesday, November 3, 2015.
Born April 3, 1942 in Coral, Ellie is the daughter of Harold & Beatrice (Hansen) Jensen, both of whom precede her in death.
Ellie is survived by her husband of 24 years, Ron Taylor; children, Jelane (David) Joachimi of Rockford, Bill (Penny) Neese of Stanton, Angie Taylor of Grand Rapids, Amy Penner of Belding, Julie (Ed) Langdon of Doweling; sisters, Catherine Grant of Gowen, Alice Keiholtz of Greenville, Bernadette (Jim) Lee of Riverdale, Doreen (Denver) Ricketts of Stanton; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Ellie loved working with her husband at Federal Mogul in Greenville which she did for 30 years. She enjoyed the beauty and splendor of the outdoors. It didn’t matter if it was a fall color trip up north, admiring the beauty of Michigan’s many lighthouses or watching the northern lights, which was her favorite, Ellie enjoyed all life had to offer and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Visitation with Ellie’s family will be on Sunday, November 8, 2015 from 6-8 PM at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan.
Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, November 9, 2015 beginning at 11 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Carson City, 404 N. Division Street, with Father Mel Fox as celebrant. Ellie’s family will also be receiving friends and family at the church on Monday from 10-11 AM. Final interment will be at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Belding.
In great appreciation for the wonderful care Ellie received from Hospice of Michigan, the family has suggested any memorial donations made in her memory be given to them and envelopes will be available at both the funeral home and church.
