Eleanor Mae Rasmussen, 92, of Pierson, passed away on July 26, 2021, at Spectrum Health United Memorial Hospital in Greenville. The daughter of Arza H. and Mary L. (Badge) Bartholomew, Eleanor was born on May 1, 1929, in Grand Haven.
Always on the move, Eleanor was never one to stay still for very long. She loved to travel, go for walks, do some fishing, go camping, and look for mushrooms. In fact, she was still tent camping into her 70’s! As long as she was moving, she was happy. Eleanor was content just being the passenger on a nice car ride. She loved cats and would rescue them whenever she could. She was a rescuer of all types of animals, if she saw an animal on the road that looked like it was in trouble, Eleanor would try to help. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and will leave a lasting memory in the hearts of many.
