Edward M. Ehle, Sr., age 92 of Sidney, passed away at his home on Saturday, September 12, 2020, under the loving care of his family and Spectrum Hospice.
Ed was a guy who was constantly on the move and doing things. He was a truck driver for 42 years and when he wasn’t hauling products you could find him working on his farm where he raised cash crops, cattle, and his haflinger draft horses. Ed really liked going to the Upper Peninsula and was proud that he was able to drive his tractor over the Mackinaw Bridge to the UP 10 times. He was an avid collector of antique tractors, he loved his Massey Harris tractors, going to tractor shows and was a member of the Old Iron Tractor Club. If Ed saw you across the room or out the window, it didn’t take long for him to acknowledge you with his signature pointing finger wave. But the one thing Ed loved above all else was his family, especially his kids and grandkids and spending time with them.
