Edith Haines, age 90 of Stanton, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2020.
She was born the daughter of Clemen & Estella (Olsen) VanVlerah and they precede her in death along with her husband, Howard; daughter, Becky Lou Smith, 6 sisters, and a brother.
Surviving Edith are her four daughters, Mary (Mike) VaiVada of Stanton; Anna Sinclair of Ishpeming; Sue (Tim) VanOrder of Cedar Springs; Paula (Jim) Proctor of Stanton; son-in-law, Stan Smith of Sheridan; 12 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and lots of cousins.
Edith enjoyed the simple things in life such as, ice cream, Mt. Dew, McDonalds, and going for rides in the car. But the one thing Edith enjoyed the most was her family, especially her grandkids.
Edith’s life will be celebrated with an ice cream social at a later date.
