Dorothy Webb-Fisher

Dorothy G. (Webb) Fisher, age 97 of Alma passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at Masonic Pathways in Alma. She was born on July 28, 1916 in Greenville, the daughter of James & Carrie (Nielsen) Bateman.
Surviving Dorothy is one daughter, Diane Baty & Roy Logan of Stoughton, Wisconsin, one son, Frederick & Karen Webb of Stanton, 6 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, one son-in-law, Edward Ehle and his family of Sheridan, one step daughter, Bonnie & Lynn Wickerham of Greenville, one stepson, Lannie Fisher of St. Johns, a former daughter in law, Jan Matson and a former son in law, James Robert Baty.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Leona Medin, her first husband, Kenneth Webb in 1994 and her second husband, Waldo Fisher in 2013.
Dorothy was a longtime resident of Stanton; she also lived in Sheridan and in 2004 moved to Masonic Pathways in Alma where she has made her home ever since. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Stanton, the Stanton Star Lodge OES and the Stanton Women’s Club. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be missed by her family and all who knew her.
Funeral services beginning at 11:00 AM will be held on Monday, June 16, 2014 at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan with Pastor Jamey Nichols officiating. Interment will be at the Forest Hill Cemetery in Stanton.
Visitation will also be at the funeral home on Monday, one hour prior to the funeral service where friends and relatives may call beginning at 10:00 AM.
For those desiring to do so, the family has suggested memorial considerations can be made to either Masonic Pathways or the Stanton Star Lodge. There will be envelopes available at the funeral home.
