Dorothy Todd

Dorothy M. Todd, age 95 of Sheridan passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Laurels of Carson City. She was born on June 23, 1919 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Bert & Ethel Ricks.
Dorothy was married to Virgil Todd, who has preceded her in death as well as her parents.
Surviving Dorothy are three cousins, Beverly Ricks of Gowen, Maxine Ricks of Belding and William “Bill” Ricks of Ionia.
Dorothy has been a lifelong resident of the Sheridan and Crystal areas and was a very faithful member of the Evergreen Free Methodist Church of Sheridan.
Funeral services beginning at 11:00 AM will be held on Monday, October 13, 2014 at the Evergreen Free Methodist Church, Sheridan, with Pastor Jim Vandewarker officiating. Interment will be at the Crystal Cemetery in Crystal, Michigan.
Visitation will also be held at the church on Monday at 10:00 AM; one hour prior to the funeral service.
For those desiring to do so, memorial considerations are can be made to the Evergreen Free Methodist Church in Dorothy’s memory. There will be envelopes available at the church.
