Donald Vernon

Donald B. Vernon, age 63 of Greenville passed away unexpectedly at his home.

He was born the son of Jack & Mildred (Westveer) Vernon on July 16, 1954 and they along with two brothers, Bobby Vernon and John Vernon as well as two sisters, Rosie Van DenToorn and Sandy Rowan have preceded him in death.

Don is survived by his daughter, Jessica (Scott) Bruesch of Fennville; son, Jeff (Joanna) Vernon of Paw Paw; sisters, Connie (Robert) VanElst, Pam (Jim) Beach, Jackie (Ron) Cash; brothers, Mike (Phyllis) Vernon, Steve (Kim) Vernon; grandchildren, Jocelyn Bruesch, Julia Bruesch, Aiden Bruesch, Lucas Bruesch, Cason Bruesch, Jayden Vernon and sister-in-law, Kathy Vernon.

A celebration of Don’s life is being held on Sunday, October 15, 2017 from 3 to 7 PM at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan. There will be a buffet luncheon available during this time and you are invited to come and go as your schedule allows.

For those wishing to make a memorial donation in Don’s memory the family suggests donations be directed to “A New Start on Life”, which is a puppy mill rescue organization that was close to Don’s heart and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
