Dianne Amaya-Briggs

Dianne L. Amaya-Briggs, age 75, of Stanton, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022 in the comfort of her home.

Known for her love of horses, Dianne was always surrounded by her pets. With her husband of 26 years, James, they cared for 6 horses, as well as dogs and cats, at home, and loved to cater to their community with rides. Dianne was an experienced rider and even placed in the World Championship of the National Barrel Horse Association. However, not everything was horseplay; she was also a kind, caring woman who loved her family fiercely. Dianne will be missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, James; daughter, Ashley Amaya (Tim Storck) of Tampa, FL; granddaughter, Alaina Storck of Tampa, Florida; and many friends.

Dianne was preceded in death by her parents, Roland “Rollie” and Goldie (Husted) Greenhoe; and brothers, Darrell Greenhoe and Darwin Greenhoe.

A celebration of Dianne’s life will be held at a later date.
