Diane Johnson

Diane Johnson, age 79, of Carson City, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing.

Diane was a long-time member of the First Congregational Church in Carson City where she served in many capacities, including the Sunday School Superintendent and Board Chairperson. She loved creating things with flowers, decorating, planning parties and going shopping. However, Diane’s favorite thing was her family and spending time with them.

Surviving Diane is her husband of 61 years, Gary Johnson; daughters, Julie (Jim) Hagerman of Carson City; Jill (Dave) Walker of Belding; son, Jeff Johnson of Carson City; grandchildren, Tiffany (Chris) Hardy of Carson City; Cody (Sara) Hagerman of Carson City; Keaton (Morgan) Johnson of Greenville; Kacey Johnson of Alma; Kameron Johnson of Carson City; Seth (Annelise) Walker of Charleston, South Carolina; Emily Walker of Belding; great grandchildren, Lilly Hagerman; Ellery Hardy; Lawson Hardy; Leo Johnson and Chloe Walker; sisters, Sandra (Chuck) Crouse of Vacaville, California; brothers, Bruce (Jill) Noll of Sheridan; Lee (Diana) Noll of Whitmore Lake, Bob (Linda) Noll of East Jordan; sister-in-law, Debbie Jones of Brentwood, Tennessee; special friend, Becky Patton of Carson City; and her beloved dog, Beau.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer & Elizabeth (Somme) Schnekenburger; foster parents, Charles & Agatha Noll; sister, Delores Lenz and brother, David Noll.

Private family services are being held at a later date.
