Deloise C Stewart (Peterman)

Deloise C. Stewart, age 95, of Stanton passed away on Monday, December 12, 2016 at Spectrum United Rehab & Nursing Center in Greenville.

She was born on July 16, 1921 the daughter of Ray & Florence (Fish) Peterman in Sidney and they along with her husband, Donald L. Stewart; son, Donald R Stewart; grandson, Curtis Corl; sister, Rosmond “Bluie” Peterman; brothers, Roger Peterman and Norman “Nubs” Peterman; brothers-in-law, Philip Peterman and Basil Cope and sisters-in-law, Wanda Peterman and Donna Peterman have proceeded her in death.

Deloise is survived by daughters, Mary Jane (Neil) Finch of Greenville, Janet Stewart of Stanton; sons, Ken (Delores) Corl of Grand Junction, Cedric (Beverly) Corl of Howard City, Steve (Lois) Stewart of Stanton; sister, Pauline Cope of Sidney; daughter-in-law, Pat Stewart of Florida; many grandchildren and many more great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Visitation with Deloise’s family is being held on Thursday, December 15, 2016 from 10 to 11 AM at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan. Funeral services will begin at 11 AM at the funeral home in Sheridan with Pastor Jamey Nichols officiating. Deloise will be laid to rest in Forest Hill Cemetery next to her husband Don.

For those wishing to make a memorial donation in Deloise’s memory the family suggest St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
