Darwin Steven White, age 67 of Fenwick, passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at United Memorial Long Term Care in Greenville.
He was born the son of Melbert & Viola (Thacker) White on April 20, 1950 and they along with one brother and one sister precede him in death.
Darwin is survived by his children, John White of Greenville; Gary White of Greenville;
Robert (Melody) White of Fenwick; John Newman of Greenville; Honey (Adam) Scott of Orleans; Rebel White of Palo; sister, Joann (Pat) Riley of Kissimmee, Florida; brothers, Melbert (Pam) White of Belding; Duane (Linda) White of Fenwick; many grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
In Darwin’s younger days, he enjoyed working on old cars and tinkering with things in the garage. He was a talented musician who enjoyed playing guitar and singing. He liked to go to the various local race tracks where he watched his dad and son race. However, most of all Darwin loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.
A celebration of Darwin’s life is being planned for a later date. Darwin will be laid to rest in Clear Lake Cemetery.
