Danny Lee Vaughn

Danny Lee Vaughn, age 60 of Gowen, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, August 10, 2016.

He was born the son of Ernest & Beverly (Sowles) Vaughn on June 13, 1956 in Greenville and they have preceded him in death as well as his step father, Billy Messmer, father and mother-in-law, Howard & Edna Sharkey and brother-in-law Ron Haney.

Danny is survived by his wife of 42 years, Bonnie; daughters, Danna (Donnie) Rohn of Sheridan, Nicole (Jason) Ciganik of Stanton; sister, Tammie Haney of Stanton; grandchildren, Brooke Ann (A.J. Ward) Brasington of Ionia, Brittany (Justin Taylor) Brasington of Stanton, Bree Brasington of Sheridan, Kolby Rohn of Sheridan, Bryant Ciganik of Stanton, Brandyn Ciganik of Stanton, Bryce Ciganik of Stanton; great grandchildren, Adison Taylor and Kraton Ward; sisters-in-law, Deva Sharkey of Sheridan, Renee Sharkey of Sheridan; brother-in-law, Russell Sharkey of Lansing, his best friend Doug Haney of Sheridan, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and his beloved dog, Ellie May.

Danny worked 33+ years for Electrolux and enjoyed hunting, going to auctions, farming and auto racing, but most of all, Danny loved his family, especially his grandkids. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In honoring Danny’s wishes no formal funeral ceremony will be held.
