Courtney Marie Wireman, our loving and caring wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at the age of 36, at home. Courtney (aka “Coco”) was born on December 10, 1982, the precious daughter of Brian and Connie (Beard) Haling.
Courtney was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at four months old. This diagnosis never kept her from being her loving, silly, rock out to music in the car, carefree self. She liked doing hair and took Cosmetology at Montcalm Area Career Center. She always loved doing things with her hands; from crocheting afghans which she learned from her Grandma Kidder; to putting puzzles together; to search word books; to having a fountain Mountain Dew in her hand. Courtney always loved helping people. After she obtained her GED, she went on to become a CNA. Courtney was a stay-at-home mom after the births of her children. During the summer she could be found spending time at the lake with her family. Courtney had a big heart and would do just about anything for those in her life. On June 18, 2005, Courtney married Ed Wireman, and together they had two beautiful, amazing children and spent almost a decade and a half together.
Surviving Courtney is her husband, Ed; their children, Cyenna and Chance Wireman; her parents, Brian and Connie Haling; her sisters, Dawn (Frank) Strecker of Sheridan, Michele Alexander (Kevin Stearns) of Fenwick, Brittany Haling of Sheridan; her niece, Heather Sue Dennis (who was more of a sister) of Sheridan; her grandfather, Herschel Haling of Sidney; her grandparents, Wayne and Phyllis Beard of Sheridan; her-mother-in- law, Cindy Wireman; brother-in- law, Jim (Mandy) Wireman; sister- in- laws, Katie (Travis) Powell, Susie (Tony) Shepard; aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, great nieces, cousins; her very close friends, Amanda Roberts and Tasha Allen; along with many other extended family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Courtney was preceded in death by her unborn twin son; grandmother, Marilyn Haling; great grandparents; John and Victoria Kidder; her cousin, Matt Reed; father- in- law, Claude Wireman; brother- in- law, Claude “Pete” Wireman III; and close friend, Shawna Gould.
A Celebration of Life for Courtney will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at 5:00 pm at the Sheridan VFW. Those wishing to make a contribution in memory of Courtney may do so through her helping hands campaign by clicking the link below.
