Connie Sweet

Connie S. Sweet, age 78 of Lakeview, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at the Ashley Care Center in Ashley.
Never afraid to try something once, Connie had a zest for life, a resourceful spirit and a creative soul. She loved music, especially loved the piano. Connie also enjoyed tending to her flower garden, knitting where she even bought wool so she could make her own yarn. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
Surviving Connie is her daughter, Suzie (Ben) Bills of Gowen; sons, Joe (Deb) Sweet of Six Lakes; Pat (Sheri) Sweet of Lakeview; grandchildren, Cindy (Randy) Hacko of Lakeview; Lucas Sweet of Lakeview; Charlie Sweet of Lakeview and Andy Bills (Jenny Becher) of Stanton; great grandchildren, Dom Hacko ; T.J. Peiffer; Tyler Hacko; Dylan Hacko; Marleigh Bills and Braylon Bills; sisters, Carole (Wesley) John of Stanton, Linda Holcomb of Ionia and many nieces and nephews.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents, James & Louella (White) Meyers and two brothers, Larry Meyers and Jerry Meyers.
Visitation and funeral services for Connie are being held on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Stanton (225 W. Cedar Street). Visitation will be from 1 – 3 PM with funeral services beginning at 3 PM.
