Colleen Gail Van Deusen, 54, of Greenville, passed away unexpectedly at home on December, 9, 2018. Colleen loved life, she loved to dance, listen to music; especially Jazz, loved parrots and macaws, and was one of Ellen DeGeneres’s biggest fans! She would watch her show every day, and if she missed an episode, she made sure to record it so she could watch it later. It gave her joy, with all the music they play, the jokes they told, and the guests she had on the show. Colleen’s biggest joy in life though, were her grandchildren, they are the light of her life, and they will greatly miss “Nanny”. On December 31, 1990, Colleen married Steve Van Deusen, and they were about to celebrate their 28th anniversary.
Colleen is survived by her husband; Steve, her father; Roger Collier, her daughters; Amber Van Deusen of Georgia, Jillian VerBeek of Muskegon, Alison (Roger) Estabrook of Muskegon, her grandchildren; Arianna VerBeek, Zaiden VerBeek, Luna Estabrook, sisters; Jennifer, Gina, and Renee, along with many extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother; Carol Collier, sister Wendi and Uncle Jim.
A luncheon to celebrate Colleen's life will be held at a later date in Saugatuck.
