Clifford Junior Searles, age 79, of Sheridan, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, February 24, 2021.
Junior was a man of many talents. He was a gifted musician who played bass with the local band “Country Green”. Junior was also a licensed amateur radio operator who’s call sign was KC8ZPF. However, most of all, Junior was a devoted and loving husband of 61 years, a wonderful dad, an amazing grandpa, and a tremendous human being.
Junior is survived by his wife, Pat Searles; daughter, Dawn (Russ) Hammond of Grand Ledge; sons, Kit (Toni) Searles of Sheridan; Roger (Kathy) Searles of Boulder, Montana; grandchildren, Shirley (Will) Manner; Bobby (Jessica) Lynn; Neca Lynn; Tyler (Alyse) Hammond; Cassy Hammond; Jacob (Addy) Pierantoni; 11 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; sisters, Dr. Bonnie Searles; Carol (Brian) Vandenberg, sister-in-law, Diane Alexander, all of Sheridan; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; along with numerous musical and amateur radio friends.
Junior was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford & Myrtie (Yaw) Searles and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Fred & Lida (Soule) Thayer.
In honoring Junior’s wishes no formal funeral ceremony will be held.
