Christina Fike

February 16, 1944 — August 19, 2020

Christina (Tina) Ellen Fike was born in Alma, Michigan on February 16,1944 to the late Warren G. Roberts and Bernita Ellen (Teed) Munson. On Wednesday, August 19, 2020 she entered Heaven’s Gate and in the arms of Jesus and our dad.

Tina was a loving mother to many children, including both her own and those she fostered, she was an awesome grandma as well as a wife, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to those that crossed her path in life. Most of Tina’s life was spent taking care of people, even up to the time she needed care herself and was taken to the hospital. She really enjoyed going out to eat and visiting with family and friends, throughout her life it is fair to say she never met a stranger and was always eager to strike up a conversation with anyone.

When she was younger, Tina enjoyed reading books, camping, going to garage sales, flea markets, selling Avon, and going to the Cathedral concerts. She was a member of Shiloh Community Church, a Foster Parent for 15 years, and she also drove school bus for the MAISD for 13 years before her retirement.

Surviving Tina are her children Kevin (Delta) Fike of Greenville, Kyle Fike of Orlando, Florida, Cammy Fike of Fenwick, Keith (Becky) Fike of Carson City, John (Kym) Jenkins of St. Johns, Warren (Stephanie) Jenkins of Newago. Grand Children, Jenny (Dillon) Fike of Lake, Devin Fike of East Lansing, Kylie Capodilupo of Union City, Megan (Michael) Perkins Jr. of Union City, William Fike of Lansing, Patrick Fike of Lansing, Tara (Kevin) Groendyk of Mount Pleasant, Hiliary Spade of Perrington, Kayne (Tessa) Jenkins of St. Johns, Savannah (Jed) Jenkins of Clare, Mackenzie Jenkins of Vestaburg, Madelynn Jenkins of Alma, Kayden Jenkins of Newago. Her beloved sister Jackie (Tim) MacDonald, her brother she never had Dale (Bev) Sherman of Ithaca, sister Corliss (Duane) Temple of Middleton. Sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws, Becky & Ron Edwards of Lakeview and Kathy & Chuck Sigsby of Stanton. She is also survived by her many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and her beloved cats, Stormy and Scottie.

Christina was proceeded by her loving husband of 40 years, Kenneth (Kenny) Fike, her parents, in-laws Kenneth and Ethel Fike, sister Avis Beracy, sister-in-law Phyllis Bigford, nephews Dustin MacDonald and Donny Biermaker, and her dogs, Tess and Libby.

Visitation for Tina is being held at the Stanton First Congregational Church (305 N. Camburn Street) on Monday, August 24, 2020, from 5 to 7 PM and also on Tuesday from 10 to 11 AM.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at the Stanton First Congregational Church beginning at 11 AM, with Pastor Jamey Nichols officiating.
