Obituary for
Chris Wilbur
Chris G. Wilbur, age 65 of Riverdale passed away at his home on Tuesday, September 26, 2017.
Chris was a talented musician who loved to perform and play his saxophone. He had a great sense of humor and also enjoyed playing golf, fishing and watching sports, especially NASCAR, Tiger baseball, Lions football and cheering for MSU. Some of Chris’s favorite times were spent with his family singing and playing music. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
Chris is preceded in death by his sister, Debra Gail Wilbur; step-mother, Millie Wilbur; his best friend, Dave Rowley and his dog, Katie.
Surviving Chris is his father and step-mother, Art & Lucile Wilbur of Brotherton; mother, Colette Wilbur of Coral Springs, Florida; wife, Nancy Wilbur of Riverdale; daughters, Lee (John) Green of St. Louis, Jenny (Jason) Robinson of Alma, Katrina (Rick) Allemang; grandchildren, Andrew Priest of St. Louis, Candace Sanborn of Alma, Dean Sanborn of Alma, Isaak Green of St. Louis, August Birchmeier of St. Louis; Aunt Carol DeMay of Florida and his two dogs, Lola and Jake.
In honoring Chris’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral ceremony held.
