Cheryl Lynn Lathrop, 67, of Stanton, passed away on March 20, 2019 at home. Cheryl was born on October 23, 1951 in Sheridan to Frank and Ethel (Nichols) Johnson.
Always one to help her family, Cheryl enjoyed house sitting or pet sitting for her relatives whenever someone was out of town. She always enjoyed trips to the casino with her parents and especially loved spending time with her family.
Cheryl is loved and survived by her parents; her sons, Marcus (Andrea) Lathrop of Evans, Georgia, Louis Lathrop of Stanton; her siblings; Jeanette (Ed) Stanton of Vestaburg, Val (Paul) Adams of Vestaburg, Mark (Sue) Johnson of Edmore, Frank (Jenny) Johnson of Stanton; her grandson, Kevin Sheppard of Evans, Georgia, along with many extended family and friends. Cheryl will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
A memorial service for Cheryl will be held on Monday March 25th at 5:00pm at Hope Lutheran Church, 4741 W Stanton Rd, Stanton, MI. For those wishing to make a memorial contribution in memory of Cheryl, please consider St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org
