Reverend Charles Dalton, Sr.

Reverend Charles D. Dalton, Sr., age 84, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus on Sunday, January 15, 2023, passing away at Sheridan Community Hospital.

Charles served as a pastor at many area churches during his career. He loved playing music and especially enjoyed his christian music. After his retirement from the pulpit, his focus turned to spending time with his wife and their beloved dog, "Sam". Pastor Charles will be dearly missed by everyone.

Surviving Charles is his wife of 59 years, Diane; sons, Chuck Dalton, Jr., Bill Dalton, and Alan (Tina) Dalton; grandchildren, Shauna, Brianna, and Zachary; sisters, Jean Ward, Mary Mileski, Judy Conner, and Nancy Moore; along with several nieces and nephews.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Charles & Beatrice (Hermon) Dalton and his brother, Jerry Veltman.

Charles' life is being celebrated on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at the Butternut Bible Church (7351 S. Crystal Rd, Carson City). Visitation will be from 1 PM to 2 PM with a Memorial Service beginning at 2 P.M., with Reverend Martin Ross officiating. A luncheon will immediately follow at the church.
