Charlene “Char” May Wolever, 68, of Crystal, passed away on March 28, 2019 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus. The daughter of Carl and Irene (Tipton) Moreland, Char was born on July 26, 1950 in Greenville, MI. For many years, she worked at Electrolux Home Products as a Facilitator. Char was not one to sit still, she loved gardening; especially teaching all her grandkids how to garden, go fishing, hunting and just being outdoors. She loved dancing the twist and polka, Char enjoyed traveling, especially seeking out places she’d never been. She would often organize trips to go on and loved starting a new adventure. She was very intelligent and knew the history of the places they were traveling to and made a great narrator for the journey! Most of all though, she loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren, they were the light of her life! Char would help anyone who needed it and would give you the shirt off her back, she was adored by everyone and was a mom to all! She will be greatly missed.
Char is survived by her children; Teresa (Jake) Patterson of Carson City, Doc (Mandy) Wolever of Crystal, her grandchildren; Chelsea (Korey) Basel, Jacob Patterson, Bryce Wholscheid, Cody Wolever, great grandchildren; Payton Basel and Shea Basel, her siblings; Carla Burkett, Carlene (Don) Case, Diane (Tom) Marek, Kirby (Georgia) Moreland, Steven (Joanne) Moreland, Al (Penny) Moreland, Mark Moreland, her special friends; Sandy Ostrander and Sue Anderson, along with many other extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband James Wolever in 2012, and her brother; Baby Carl.
