Carole L. Kohn, age 93 of Crystal, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing.
If you had never spoke to Carole it was only because she hadn’t met you yet, as she was a woman who could and always would strike up a conversation with anyone, and it didn’t matter if they were a lifelong friend or a stranger. Carole was a very resourceful and ambitious person. Her family was always amazed at how she could get any grease stain out of their jeans using her brick sidewalk and a secret solution. She loved working in her yard and tending to her flowers, which she was very particular about. Carole also enjoyed taking road trips with her daughter Becky and helping her daughter document those trips through photography. She also loved her dog Buster and sitting in the swing in her front yard, especially with her grandkids.
Surviving Carole are her daughters, Sandy (Ted) Stover of Peoria, Arizona; Sally (Dale) Schoof of California; Robin Peiffer of Alma; Becky Kohn of Crystal; son, Jim (Amy) Kohn of Sidney; brother, Dean Argersinger of Cassopolis; grandchildren, Seth; Kim; Marc; Jake; Calob; Kylie; Jesse; Jim; Jeff; Jason and Alicia; as well as many great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
Carole is preceded in death by her parents, Harold & Lucille (Rolfe) Argersinger; her husband, James Kohn and a granddaughter, Carole Coronado.
A celebration of Carole’s life is being held at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan (246 S. Main Street) on Sunday, April 28, 2019 from 1-4 PM. Please feel free to come and go as your schedule allows. Final inurnment will be at the Crystal Township Cemetery.
