Brenda Kay Johnson

Brenda K. Johnson, age 63, of Greenville, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at Mission Point in Greenville, surrounded in love by her family.

Brenda was a very good cook who not only cooked at multiple restaurants, but loved to cook for her family. She enjoyed tending to her garden and canning a lot of the things she grew. Brenda took pride in keeping her house very tidy, she enjoyed hunting, going shopping; she was known as the coupon queen, and hanging out with her friends. Brenda also loved an ice cold Pepsi, but most of all she loved her family and will be deeply missed by everyone.

Surviving Brenda is her father and stepmom, Jim & Pam Tucker; her daughters, Jennifer (Bob) Lear of Lyons, Erin Hyde of Greenville, Angela Johnson of Sidney; stepson, Chris (Kristen) Johnson of Greenville; grandchildren, Makayla Heintzelman, Michael Heintzelman, Katlyn Hyde, Gryphon Miles, Mackenzie Miles, Christopher Hobbs, Curtis Hyde; sisters, Debbie Shearer of Stanton and Tracy (James) Zahm of Belding.

Brenda was preceded in death by her mother, Pansey Tucker.

Brenda's life is being celebrated on Monday, March 27th at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan (246 S. Main St.). Visitation will be from 10 to 11 AM with her memorial service beginning at 11 AM.
