Brandon Bogart

Brandon L. Bogart, age 39, of Crystal, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at the University of Michigan Health - West Hospital in Wyoming, surrounded in love by his family.

Brandon loved his family and his two cats. An active member of his community, Brandon was always ready and willing to help anyone in need. He was a former member of the Home, Crystal, and Stanton Fire Departments, and Montcalm County Fire Association Honor Guard. He was also a member of the Crystal Lake Community Church and Crystal Lions Club. Brandon loved working at Stanton Hardware and chatting it up with all of his co-workers and customers, he was definitely loved by everyone and a blessing to all who knew him. He also enjoyed working at the Crystal Motor Speedway on Saturday nights, something he has done since he was 12. Brandon also loved watching his son, Andrew, race there as well. Brandon had a kind spirit and loved to make people smile and laugh. Brandon will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.

Surviving Brandon is his wife, Rebecca Bogart; son, Andrew Bogart; parents, Larry & Vera Bogart; grandmothers, JoAnn Helmer and Margie Bogart; brothers, Nathan & Genea Bogart, Nick Bogart & Jill Williams, Jordan Bogart & Audra Stark; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Thomas & Denise Drury; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Henry & Rachel Drury, Wade & Angela Drury, Jacob & Kate Drury, Taylor Drury, Hannah Drury, Emma Drury, Zoe Drury, and Lucas Drury; several nieces and nephews; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and lots of great friends.

Brandon was preceded in death by his grandpas, Gerald Helmer and Lawrence Bogart; uncle, Randy Helmer, and baby cousin, Henry Helmer.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 18th, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM, at the First Baptist Church of Carson City Fellowship Center (10204 E. Carson City Road).

Funeral services for Brandon will be on Thursday, May 19th, beginning at 11 AM at the First Baptist Church of Carson City Fellowship Center.

Graveside services for Brandon will be held at Evergreen Township Cemetery.
