Bonnie Palethorpe

Bonnie Lou Palethorpe, age 67, of Gowen, passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, in Greenville.

Fondly known as “Bunky” by her father, Bonnie was a long-time member of the Sheridan Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed collecting home décor, especially frogs, horses and apples. Bonnie was very social and loved spending time with her church family, but more than anything she loved her family and grandchildren.

Surviving Bonnie is her husband of 42 years, Shannon Palethorpe of Gowen; daughters: Shelly Miller of St. Ignace, Ronda (Tim) Thornton or Greenville, and Amanda (Kyle) Vanconant of Edmore; grandchildren: Keisha Miller of Cadillac, Seth Miller of St. Ignace, and Timothy Thornton, Jr. of Greenville; brothers: Ronald (Angela) Jeffers of Sheridan, and William (Dolly) Jeffers III of Sheridan; and many friends.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, William & Estella (Roberts) Jeffers; and sister Kathy Fisher.

Visitation for Bonnie will be held on Monday, December 20th from 1 – 3 PM at Sheridan Assembly of God Church (4010 S. Sheridan Rd). A funeral service will follow at 3 PM.

Those who wish may donate in Bonnie’s memory to Sheridan Assembly of God. Envelopes will be available during the visitation.
