Bobby Freeman, age 87 of Sheridan, formally of Wolverine, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 7, 2018 under the loving care of his family and Hospice of Michigan.
An avid outdoorsman, Bobby loved to hunt and fish. He especially enjoyed hunting in the Upper Peninsula and fishing in Wolverine on the Sturgeon River where he lived for over 30 years. Bobby also like driving dune buggies and snowmobiles. He was retired from Lansing Drop Forge after working there for 37 years.
Bobby is survived by his daughter’s, Deb (Randy) Ripley of Sheridan; Cyndi (Richard) Patchett of Parma; son, Ron (Candy) Freeman of Wolverine; grandchildren, Kristy (Dave) Scholl of Parma; Scott (Tabitha) Ripley of Stanton; Matt (Jamie) Ripley of Vestaburg; Cheri Ripley of Sheridan; Little Ron (Alex) Freeman of Wolverine; Robert (Jamie) Freeman of Wolverine; Kim (Nick) Bunker of Wolverine; Kenneth Freeman of Wolverine; Mazie Freeman of Wolverine; fifteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Preceding Bobby in death are his parents, Travis & Laurabell (Davis) Freeman; his wife Thelma Freeman; one brother, Billy Freeman and one sister, Susan Freeman.
Bobby’s family would like to invite everyone to a Celebration of Bobby’s life on Thursday, October 11th from 4-7 PM at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan. Please feel free to come and go as your schedule allows.
