Bob Willard

Bob J. Willard, age 84 of Sheridan passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was born on August 12, 1929 in Crystal, Michigan, the son of Merle & Susie (Willmore) Willard.
On January 15, 1949, Bob was married to Cleo J. Moody, his wife of 65 years and she survives in addition to a daughter, Vickie Joyce of Sheridan and a son & daughter in law, Michael & Dana Willard, also of Sheridan plus five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Kay and Jack, a sister, Betty and a daughter, Jacklyn.
A longtime resident of the Sheridan area, Bob was a life member of the Crystal Masonic Lodge. He loved the outdoors especially hunting, fishing, camping, NASCAR, telling stories, snowmobiling, four wheeling and gardening.
A memorial service beginning at 11:00 AM will be held on Friday, May 9, 2014 at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan with Pastor Reid Martin officiating.
The family will meet with friends and relatives at the funeral home on Friday morning beginning at 10:00 AM; one hour prior to the memorial service.
For those desiring to do so, the family has suggested memorial considerations can be made to the American Heart Association. There will be envelopes available at the funeral home.
