Betty Jones (Davis)

Betty Lou Jones, age 81 of Greenville passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Metron of Belding.

She was born the daughter of Frank & Lilly (Rickle) Davis on June 10, 1936 in Greenville. She is preceded in death by her parents; one son, Matthew and two brothers, Scotty & Raymond Davis.

Betty is survived by her husband, Leroy Jones of Greenville; son, Mark Jones of Greenville; daughters, Vanessa (James) Marr of Greenville; Debra (Danny) Rohn of Belding; sister, Bonnie of Arizona; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; her dogs, Lucky & Suzie and many friends and extended family.

Betty was a very generous woman who was always helping those in need. She was a gifted musician who loved signing and playing the mandolin. She was a founding member of the Three Crosses Church on M-91. Betty loved attending and singing at Blue Grass Jams.

Visitation with Betty’s family will be on Sunday, June 10, 2018 from 2-4 PM at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan.

Funeral services for Betty are being held on Monday, June 11, 2018 at 1:30 PM at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan with Pastor Ken Harger officiating.
